Our Locations

We have two practice locations

Both rooms in Blacktown and Norwest have modern sophisticated diagnostic equipment to diagnose and manage your eye conditions.

If you need surgery, we operate at two surgery centres, Lakeview Private Hospital and City West Day Surgery. Both centres utilise cutting edge technology that allow the best quality care for your eyes.

What we specialise in

We are specialists with eyes
  • Cataracts

A cataract is a lens in the eye that has become cloudy. This gives rise to blurred vision and glare as the cataract progresses.

  • Glaucoma

Glaucoma is nerve damage caused by the pressure in the eye.

  • Pterygium

Pterygiums are triangular growths of tissue that covers the cornea, and can lead to reduced vision.

  • Cornea

There are many conditions affecting the cornea including keratoconus, Fuchs’ endothelial dystrophy and recurrent corneal erosion syndrome.

  • Macular Degeneration

This condition leads to damage of the macular, which significantly affects central vision.

  • Diabetic Eye Diseases

Diabetes can affect multiple parts of the eye including the central macular, the peripheral retina and the human lens.

  • Vitreo-retinal Disease

Diseases such as epiretinal membrane can cause distortion in vision and require surgery.

  • Paediatric Eye Disease (inc. Squints)

Squints, or turns in the eye, can lead to amblyopia and may need early surgery to straighten the eye and allow normal vision development.

Nexus Eyecare is open to see patients during the COVID-19 situation.
